One of the oldest restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks is closing its doors. The Happy Fisherman on Highway 54 in Osage Beach originally opened in 1975 and has reportedly sold anywhere from 6-8 tons of catfish a year. The 37 year run for the Happy Fisherman has come to an end in part due to the addition of the many national restaurant chains that opened here in recent years.
