  A new alliance of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, the MO Dept. of Economic Development, the City of Lake Ozark and the Horseshoe Bend Development Group will bring about the extension of Horseshoe Bend Parkway to the new Highway 54 Expressway. This 12.6 million dollar project will be a 2-mile long, 4-lane divided highway with the estimated start to be in early 2011. This will help alleviate some of the heavier weekend traffic on Bagnell Dam Blvd., and open up more opportunities for future development.
