Your home has been on the market for much longer than you expected and you don't know why? Based on the opinion of several staging experts, realtors, designers and architects, here are 40 ways to make sure your home does not sell.

1. Vinyl kitchen floors with lots of pattern.

10. Lots of dried flower arrangements

11. Tons of family pictures

12. Popcorn textured ceiling

13. Parquet flooring

14. Mirrored sliding doors

15. Huge TV's filling up the room

16. Carpet older than 5-7 years

17. Large white ceiling fans

18. Older bed spreads and comforters.

19. Plate glass mirrors

20. Hollywood/makeup bathroom light fixtures

21. Wallpaper borders

22. Yellow light switch plates

23. 100's of refrigerator magnets

24. Inspirational sayings painted on walls

25. Taxidermy showrooms

26. Weapons hanging on walls

27. Full ashtrays

28. Spongebob Squarepants shower curtains

29. Toys everywhere

30. Lace curtains
