Gary Prewitt, owner of RIS, Inc, is asking the Lake Ozark city officials to amend the terms of the Tax Increment Funding District (TIF) that can possibly close the deal in getting these 2 large major retailers to build their stores in the Eagles Landing project in Lake Ozark. A critical part of the process is that one of the retailers wish to be located in a section that is currently in phase 2 of the complex. Prewitt has been successful in the Prewitt's Point development at the corner of Highways 54 and 42 in Osage Beach. Prewitt's Point houses Hy-Vee, Target, Lowe's, Walgreen's, Outback Steakhouse and other businesses.
