The Berra's Lake of the Ozarks Real Estate Blog

The number of residential waterfront home sales at the Lake year-to-date is down roughly 4.5% from 2009. Residential off-water home sales for 2010 are up 10% from the same period last year. Residential bank owned sales nearly doubled in 2010, from 91 in 2009 to 181 so far this this year. Waterfront condo sales have increased from 244 in 2009 to 255 in 2010. Off-water condo sales are down by about 20%. Sales of bank owned condos jumped from 13 in 2009 to 36 in 2010. Commercial property sales are down 10% where as bank owned commercial sales have more than doubled. Land sales are up roughly 20% with bank owned land sales up nearly 60%. Farm sales in 2010 are way down from 2009. There were 15 sales of farms at this time last year and there have been only 4 closed in 2010. Overall transactions at the lake so far this year are up 2% over this time frame in 2009.
