This link shows the recent short term closings of several Missouri State Parks public swimming beaches due to elevated levels of e-coli. Please note that the Lake of the Ozarks is not included in these recent closings. This is an instance that shows all lakes have some level of bacteria, not just the Lake of the Ozarks.
