  If you have not taken the time to enjoy the Lake yet this year, September and October are two wonderful months to spend at the Lake. September brings the average low temperature of 57 degrees to a daily high temperature of 81. The lows in October are 45 with daily highs around 70 degrees. The water temperature is currently still in the 80's. These 2 months offer lower rates on lodging in many locations. Less highway traffic and less water traffic. But still plenty to do. The 8th Annual Blue Moon Golf Benefit is September 15th. The 4th Annual Lake Ozark Bikefest is Sept. 16 through the 19th. The Versailles Apple Festival is Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. The Big Bass Bash is Oct. 2 and Oct. 3. The Ozark Cup Regatta is Oct. 2, and the 25th Annual Harbor Hop is scheduled for October 9. Come visit the Lake and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The leaves will be turning soon and there's nothing like a nice cruise on the lake in the Fall.
